Amazfit Active 2 vs Amazfit Bip Max
Both cost $99 and use single-band GPS, but the Bip Max nearly doubles the GPS battery (40 hours versus 21) and has a much bigger 2.07-inch screen. The Active 2 is a smaller, lighter 44mm round watch that looks more like a traditional running watch.

AmazfitAmazfit Bip Max
- •You want a small, round, lightweight watch
- •You prefer the look of a traditional round face
- •You want the biggest screen and the longest GPS battery at $99
- •You'll use the storage for maps and music
The Active 2 is Amazfit's entry-level running watch: a 1.32-inch AMOLED display, built-in GPS across five satellite systems, Bluetooth calls with a speaker and mic, and up to 21 hours of continuous GPS in a 44mm case that weighs about 30 grams. The Premium version adds sapphire glass and a leather strap for $129.99. GPS is single-band, so accuracy under tree cover or between tall buildings won't match dual-band watches.
The Bip Max is Amazfit's big-screen budget pick: a 2.07-inch AMOLED at 3,000 nits, 4GB of storage for downloadable maps and music, built-in GPS with up to 40 hours of tracking, and a speaker for Bluetooth calls, all in an aluminum-and-plastic case. It uses single-band GPS, has 5 ATM water resistance and no ECG, and the large rectangular case wears big on small wrists. It launched in May 2026.
