AmazfitAmazfit Active 3 Premium
- •You want a capable GPS watch for $99
- •Basic tracking is enough for your runs
- •You want training-tier analytics and a bit more GPS battery
- •$70 more is worth it for the newer model
The Active 2 is Amazfit's entry-level running watch: a 1.32-inch AMOLED display, built-in GPS across five satellite systems, Bluetooth calls with a speaker and mic, and up to 21 hours of continuous GPS in a 44mm case that weighs about 30 grams. The Premium version adds sapphire glass and a leather strap for $129.99. GPS is single-band, so accuracy under tree cover or between tall buildings won't match dual-band watches.
Active 3 Premium punches well above its price with actual navigable maps and running power metrics, features usually reserved for watches twice the cost. One of the best values in this entire list.
