GarminGarmin Venu 3
- •You want Garmin's max-tier training analytics and industry-leading solar battery
- •More than double the price is worth it for the rugged build and battery longevity
- •You want a lifestyle smartwatch with core health tracking for a fraction of the price
- •Multi-week solar battery life and rugged flagship features aren't priorities for you
Announced August 25, 2026, the Fenix 9 Pro Solar swaps the Fenix 9 Pro's bright AMOLED screen for a transflective MIP display ringed with solar cells, stretching battery life to roughly 57 days in normal use and up to 291 days in battery saver with steady sunlight. Everything else, titanium case, 64GB storage, Elevate 5 sensor with ECG, speaker and mic, and optional inReach, carries over from the AMOLED Pro.
The Venu 3 blends Garmin's core fitness tracking and Body Battery readiness with a built-in speaker and microphone for taking calls from your wrist. It trades away deep running-load metrics like Training Readiness, making it ideal for runners who prioritize health tracking and smartwatch convenience.
