Coros Apex 4 vs Coros Pace 4 Pro
These two are nearly feature-identical now, both have ECG, a speaker, offline maps, and max-tier analytics, for almost the same price. The real difference is design intent: the Apex 4 is built rugged for mountains and trails, while the Pace 4 Pro is the lighter, road-focused watch with the brighter, bigger display.

CorosCoros Pace 4 Pro
- •You want a rugged, adventure-ready build for off-road and mountain use
- •You prefer a metal bezel over the Pace 4 Pro's titanium-and-sapphire road design
- •You want the brightest, biggest screen Coros makes in a road-focused, lighter design
- •A few more hours of GPS battery life matter to you
The Apex 4 delivers much of what a Fenix 8 or Forerunner 970 offers for training depth and durability, at a noticeably lower price. Smart features are minimal by design, but the core running and trail tracking is excellent.
The Pace 4 Pro takes everything that made the Pace 4 popular, dual-band GPS, EvoLab's full training suite, a genuinely light build, and adds the two features Coros has never offered before: a real ECG sensor and a built-in speaker for hands-free calls. A titanium bezel, sapphire glass, and a much brighter 3,500-nit display round out the jump. It still skips NFC payments and streaming music, and at 5 ATM it's not meant for diving, but at $449 it's undercutting Garmin's closest ECG-capable rival by $300.
