- •You want calls, ECG, Garmin Pay, and Garmin's top-tier features
- •You want multiple sizes and 10 ATM water resistance
- •You want to save $400 and get more GPS battery than the 47mm Fenix 9
- •You want a lighter, more compact watch
The Fenix 9 pushes display brightness to 3,000 nits while slimming down the overall profile with a full titanium bezel and rear cover. Adding 64GB of storage, 3D topo mapping, and dedicated rucking and endurance stamina metrics, it sits right at the top of Garmin's multi-sport lineup.
The Race 3S takes everything that made the Race S a hit for smaller wrists and upgrades nearly all of it: a titanium bezel and sapphire glass, a 2,000-nit AMOLED display (up from 600), 38 hours of dual-band GPS (up from 30), 64GB of storage for free global offline maps, and Suunto's new AI Coach. The watch head weighs just 38 grams. It still skips a speaker, ECG, and NFC payments, and at $599 it costs a lot more than the Race S it replaces.
