Amazfit T-Rex Ultra 2 vs Garmin Fenix 9
The T-Rex Ultra 2 undercuts the Fenix 9 by $450 and has far more GPS runtime on paper (50 hours versus 30), with the same offline maps, dual-band GPS, and 10 ATM diving support. The Fenix 9 counters with ECG, streaming music sync, max-tier analytics, a case 14 grams lighter, and a much deeper ecosystem.

The T-Rex Ultra 2 is Amazfit's answer to the Fenix and the Apple Watch Ultra, at $549. It has preloaded full-color global maps with on-watch route planning, dual-band GPS, 64GB of storage, a dual-color flashlight, a speaker for Bluetooth calls, and 10 ATM water resistance with diving support to 45 meters. It's a big 51mm, 89-gram watch, and Amazfit's software and app ecosystem are still thinner than Garmin's.
The Fenix 9 pushes display brightness to 3,000 nits while slimming down the overall profile with a full titanium bezel and rear cover. Adding 64GB of storage, 3D topo mapping, and dedicated rucking and endurance stamina metrics, it sits right at the top of Garmin's multi-sport lineup.
