Running in Houston
Fast and flat — a PR course if there ever was one
Houston is one of the fastest marathon courses in the country. The Chevron Houston Marathon and Aramco Houston Half Marathon weekend in January draws over 30,000 runners to a flat, spectator lined course through downtown. The cool January temperatures and generous time limits make it a favorite for runners chasing a Boston qualifier or a personal best. Houston boasts a vibrant running club culture. You can view some popular running clubs and groups below.
