The Full Story

Same titanium-and-sapphire build as the Apex 2, but with 66 hours of GPS battery life, offline maps, WiFi, and 32GB of storage. Coros pitched it as a smaller, cheaper Vertix 2, and most of that positioning still holds even with the Apex 4 now above it.

The Fenix 9 pushes display brightness to 3,000 nits while slimming down the overall profile with a full titanium bezel and rear cover. Adding 64GB of storage, 3D topo mapping, and dedicated rucking and endurance stamina metrics, it sits right at the top of Garmin's multi-sport lineup.

*Estimated — this model's exact GPS battery life isn't published by the manufacturer. All figures are standard GPS mode, midsize case, no solar boost.

†Estimated — this model launched too recently to have an established customer rating yet.
